Amaka is a wife, a mother, and a philanthropist. She received a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters degree in Public Policy and Administration. She is a member of Peoples Naija Foundation (PNF) and wholeheartedly believes in the power of community! Community to her is derived from the combination of the words commune and unity. It is based on those two principles that she found herself in the position to serve. Born in Nigeria, Amaka was exposed to all classes of wealth, from the super-rich to the very poor. What stood out the most to her was the disparity between the two classes. It was disheartening to see other human beings suffering because they didn't have access to basic needs such as clean water, medical care, proper education, and a means to rise above the negative components that are associated with poverty. Sadly, the memories from my childhood still exist in present-day poverty-stricken countries.
We are all a part of one another, no matter which continent you are from, what race, what gender, or what social class you belong to, we are all connected. PNF is that uniting factor that promotes the welfare of others and provides the essentials to those in need. Amaka has been able to assist PNF efforts including but not limited to collecting donations, helping the organization provide health fairs, scholarship programs, medical equipment, and medicine to members of impoverished communities. Amaka is proud to be a part of PNF and she looks forward to building a better community with you!

Chris is one of the founding members of Peoples Naija. He graduated from California State University Long Beach in 2005, with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. While he was in college, he noticed many Africans, especially Nigerians, would come together and share ideas. That sparked an ah-ha moment for Chris, that moment lead to the birth of Peoples Naija Entertainment. People Naija Ent. is one of the first Nigerian social group/organization formed in the early 2000s in Los Angeles California. Peoples Naija Ent. helped promote Nigerian culture and heritage in the United States. The activities of Peoples Naija Ent. included: musical concerts, annual Nigerian Independence Day picnics and events, masquerade entertainment and annual homeless winter coat drive. After many years of success, Chris wanted Peoples Naija Ent. to become more than just an entertainment business. So when Chris' brother, Joe came on board Peoples Naija Entertainment expanded to their dream project, Peoples Naija Foundation.
The primary purpose of the Peoples Naija Foundation is to develop Africa and empower people by providing educational opportunities strategically. It is essential to provide sustainable education, which will allow people who are less privileged to reach their untapped potential and become extraordinary. Remember, "Knowledge is like a garden: If it is not cultivated, it cannot be harvested." We must implement these ideologies by giving back and supporting those who would like to help with the development of Africa.
